Turner Tur-ner of Pleasant Grove are happy hap-py to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Julie and Kenneth Ken-neth Bastian, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond K. Bastian of Pleasant Grove. The young couple plan to be married in Salt Lake Temple ceremonies on the morning of Feb. 12. A wedding breakfast to be given by the groom's parents will follow. That same evening they will be honored at a reception given by the bride's parents. The bride is a 1969 graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School, where she was active in drama and won "best actress" ac-tress" honors in her senior year. She is also a graduate of the four-year seminary pro-grac. pro-grac. She has been employed by the Pleasant Grove Recreation Recrea-tion Dept. as a dance instructor instruc-tor and has attended Snow College, Col-lege, where she was active in Delta Gamma (modern dance club). The groom is a 1965 graduate gradu-ate of the Pleasant Grove High School and four-year seminary program. He has attended the Brigham Young University and fulfilled a 2Vz year LDS mission mis-sion in the Samoan Islands. He is presently serving with the Army in Virginia, where the couple plan to reside during the remainder of his enlistment |
