They trounced a tough Springville team 25-1- 6 a week ago here in the high school gym. They also walked over Spanish Fork last Tuesday night, 30-1- 6. This match was at Spanish Fork. So far, the P.G. wrestlers are undefeated in league mat-ches. Tonight (Thursday) they will meet the Payson wrestlers here in the P.G. gym. This Friday, the Vikings host the Springville Red Devils at the PGHS gym. Junior Varsity game starts at 6:30 and Varsity will start at 8 p.m. After the game Friday night there will be a dance with the combo "Sweet Pain" playnig. Admission charge will be 25 cents. The groom graduated from American Fork High School and is presently attending Utah Technical Col-lege. The young couple plan to make their new home in Lin-do- n after theis marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. Taylor of Pleasant Grove are happy to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Jenavie to Alan Lee Park, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Park of American Fork. Jan. 23 has been set as the wedding date and the wedding will be held in the Salt Lake Temple. Following the cere-mony, the groom's parents will host a wedding breakfast and a reception will be held the same evening from 8:30 to 10 Mark Bellistons Vsif Here for Holidays Mark Belliston, his wife Car-olyn and son Brettley spent the holidays visiting with his par-ents, Mr and Mrs. Gerald Bel-liston, and with Mr. and Mrs. William Harris of Richmond, Utah. Mark is employed by Ford Motor Co. at Dearborn, Mich-igan. He has just returned from a four-mont- h assignment in London, England, and Belfast, Ireland. He returned last week to his job in Michigan. New 4-- H Riding Club Organized in P.G. A new 4-- Riding Club has been organized. It is called the Four Winds. Leader is Mrs. Donna Tomlinson, and junior leader, Dawna Powell. The president of the new club is Debra Jorgensen, and Mindy Barratt is secretary. Peggy Green is reporter. The club has had three meet-ings and a tubing party, and also went caroling. |
