Show School Gives Appreciation For Museum Visit Recently the fifth grade of the American Heritage school at Pleasant Grove, and their teacher, David Putnam, made a surprise call on Mr. and Mrs. Harold Walker to present pre-sent holiday greetings in the form of a packet of letters written by the pupils to express ex-press their individual appreciation apprec-iation for the many interesting interest-ing things about pioneer life they learned in their tour of the Pioneer Museum and log cabin. Many of the letters emphasized empha-sized that seeing the relics and hearing the stories of how ' they were used had helped the pupils to see the contrast between be-tween pioneer life and the easy life of today. But in spite of the hardships of early days most of the students concluded conclud-ed they would like to be fine and brave like the pioneers who certainly were not afraid jf work. |
