Show ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS The Sixth grade students of Roger Olsen will present a minstrel show for the Valley View parents Monday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. Other friends are cordially invited. ESN A highly successful Parents Day was held at Central School Friday from 12 noon until 4 p. m. Approximately 90 per cent of the students were represented represent-ed by one or both of their parents. A bef ore-noon lunch was served to the teachers. ESN Mrs. Mariann Kartchner took her Central tutorial students on a tour of he Arza Adams turkey farm last Wednesday. They learned how turkeys were incubated, raised and marketed. market-ed. ESN Parents Day will be held all day Friday, November 15 at Grovecrest. Parents will visit teachers according to a prearranged pre-arranged schedule. ESN An immunization clinic was held at Grovecrest last Wednesday Wed-nesday at 9:15 a.m. under the direction of Wanda Loveridge, Public Health Nurse. The next clinic will be held Wednesday, Dec. 11 at the same hour. ESN Karl Banks spoke to the Third and Fourth grade children child-ren at London Schol last Thursday Thurs-day about early life in Lindon. He read a list of 58 articles in common use today that were unknown, when he was a Lindon Lin-don boy of their size. |
