Show Funeral Rites for Grace B. Craig Held on Monday Funeral services for Grace Belinda Bush Craig, 77, were held Monday, Sept. 9, 1968 at 2 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove, under un-der the direction of Bishop David Da-vid C. Harvey of the Manila Ward. Mrs. Craig died Sept. 6, in American Fork Hospital, from natural causes. Speakers, who paid tribute to the deceased as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and foster fos-ter grandmother, were Lola Bullock and Harvey E. Smith. A life sketch was given by Kim Friant, and Bishop Harvey closed with fitting remarks. Nancy Ekins favored with two vocal solos, "That Wonderful Wonder-ful Mother of Mine" and "Hold Thou My Hand," accompanied by Lucy Haycock. Mrs. Haycock Hay-cock also played prelude and postlude music. Family prayer was led by Bishop Harvey, Howard Wof-finden Wof-finden asked the invocation and benediction was offered by Paul Madsen. Pallbearers were Paul Fordham, Ford-ham, Lawrenle Rawlings, Kent Friant, Ed Roberts, Ray Pulley Pul-ley and Ernest Thayne. Burial was in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Ed Roberts. Mrs. Craig was born Jan. 2, 1891 in Bernice, Oklahoma, to John William and Nancy Jane Long Bush. She married Harry F. Craig Dec. 18, 1909 in Miami, Okla. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was employed as a foster fos-ter grandparent at the Utah State Training School. Survivors include her husband, hus-band, Montrose, Colo., a daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Wayne (Gladys) Friant, Fri-ant, Pleasant Grove, 5 grandchildren; grand-children; two great-grandchildren. |
