Show NEWS FROM SERVICEMEN Spec4 Jerald G. Chipman, husband hus-band of Virginia Loader Chip-man, Chip-man, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Harris B. Chipman, will complete com-plete six weeks of extensive field training March 22 with other members of the 4th Armored Arm-ored Division near Grafenwohr, Germany. Marine Pvt. James D. Kelley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eustace D. Kelley, was graduated from 8 weeks of recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. - Dan Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil H. Turner, was promoted pro-moted to Army sergeant Feb. 28, near Pleiku, Vietnam, where he is motor sergeant with the 4th Infantry Division. Lt. Col William E. Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur D. Harris has been recognized for helping his unit earn the U.S. Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. Colonel Harris, an aircraft commander in the 437th Military Mili-tary Airlift Wing at Charleston AFB, S.C., will wear a distinctive distinct-ive service ribbon as a permanent perman-ent decoration. |
