Show Lions Club to Sell Brooms Starting In Early April Brooms made by the blind will be sold by Lions Clubs of the area, beginning April 3. The local Lions Club will be participating partic-ipating in this project. Proceeds from this sale will be used for sight conservation and aid to the blind. The Pleasant Grove Lions Club and their ladies were well represented at the Zone A meeting meet-ing and banquet held at the Alpine Country Club last Monday Mon-day evening. The Alpine Lions Club hosted the well-planned and very enjoyable affair. Special guests and speakers for the evening included Mar-on Mar-on Oveson, zone chairman; Albert Al-bert C. Grosjean, district governor gov-ernor and James Lunberg, director di-rector of Lions International. Lion Lunberg gave praise and instruction to the Lions in Zone A, admonisting them to continue con-tinue their service to their communities, com-munities, and seek young men to join and give service to others oth-ers with the Lions Clubs. |
