Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR HUSBAND OF FORMER RESIDENT funeral services were held wednesday afternoon in the cedar first ward chapel for william cucil 53 of that city and husband of isora taylor cucil native of parowan carowan Pa rowan mr cucil died last saturday from a kidney ailment after a long illness the deceased was a veteran of world war I 1 and military services were held with american legion members being pallbearers pall bearers bishop snow conducted the services which opened with a trio consisting of will macfarlane Macfar iane myles walker and ray cosslett singing sweet hour of prayer the opening prayer was of by george Grini grimshaw shaw chas it I 1 Hunter merle gibson and elvid williams were speakers with closing remarks by bishop snow ray cosslett sang my buddy and myles walker sang that silver haired daddy of mine during the services and the trio sang though deepening trials for the closing song win will macfarlane offered the closing prayer and bishop george wood dedicated the grave the deceased was married to isora taylor of parowan carowan in 1930 and they have made their home in cedar city since then besides his wife he is survived by four children two boys and two girls those who attended the services from here were mr and mrs R ross oss taylor mr and mrs clayton taylor and son gene mr and mrs waldo taylor and daughter veda matheson mrs hattie harris mrs velma goodnow and lavar taylor |
