Show SHOW HEADS SELECT THREE STOCK JUDGES FOR JUNIOR EVENT three judges from the utah state agricultural college and the university of idaho have been appointed for the fifth annual junior fat stock show scheduled for june 1 4 and 5 in north salt lake show officials announce professor harry H smith utah extension animal husbandman will judge the swine division of the show professor alma C esplin sheep and wool specialist of the state college will place the sheep and professor E F rinehart extension animal husbandman of the university niver sity of idaho will judge cattle professor smith a veteran live stockman has tor for many years judged at shows throughout the west including the great western at denver where he has judged cattle for 20 years the kansas city royal southwestern idaho fair utah state fair ogden livestock show also the los angeles exhibition and shows in iowa professor rinehart has been with the idaho extension service for 24 years and has written a number or 01 bulletins on sheep and beef production including one for 4 H duo clun members entitled selecting and fattening 4 11 beef calves he has judged at many shows including the pacific international at portland great western at denver the chicago international the kansas city royal and the intermountain junior bior fat stock show professor esplin has for 25 years been an extension worker and is a collaborator at the united states experiment station at dubois idaho he has judged at livestock shows throughout the mountain states and the southwest |
