Show BOYS prosecuted FOR FOH VIOLATING GAME LAWS two boys from minersville Miners ville jeff and alton marshall brothers were apprehended in the hills north of here last tuesday by roy benson and brought to town to bo be charged with killing deer out of season and having deer meat in their possession they were tried on wednesday in justice ray H adams court where it was found that one of the boys was only 17 years old and would therefore have to be turned over to the juvenile authorities for prosecution therefore jeff the older boy who was 19 shouldered the blame plead guilty and was fined 65 of which was suspended and the other 35 paid the younger lad was turned loose the two boys were cutting posts in in the hills between here and andl andar Mr bunjor is working over in those h hills lills the latter heard the shots tuesday morning and went to investigate at their camp he found part of the deer meat but the boys were out in the cedars taking the meat and their guns he found them and when confronted with the he evidence and also because of the fact that their clothes were covered with blood and deer hair they hey confessed to the crime |
