OCR Text rj PT WELCOME TEACHERS on behalf of 0 the community we extend to the teachers who have assembled to direct our schools for tile the coming year a sincere welcome and a wish for or their success and happiness in our midst those who have been in the system we know and appreciate the new ones come corne with tine fine recommendations ions we get the lm im presson that the local setup this year is a good one and that a very successful school season may be expected 1 we need not remind the teachers that their arst obligation Ts to the school to the students under them it may not be improper to suggest however that their success and likewise their happiness may be 1 largely influenced by the extent to which they enter into the community life and activities too little or too much participation in out ot of school affairs may impair their usefulness and their effectiveness in the school we believe we are justified la in expecting some community activity from each and become becom ing conduct at all times but none should submit to being overburdened our alah Is that not only the teachers but also the families of those who are married may find contentment and form lastic lasting friendships among us with that etti attitude tude we reiterate relt erata a sincere welcome
