Show SPORTS PROGRAM FIXED FOR FAIR AND rambouillet SHOW A tentative program of the sports in connection with the second annual rambouillet show and iron county fair to be held in paro I 1 wan wait on september IS 13 19 and 20 of this year together with some rules and regulations concerning same have been decided on by the committees in charge as published herewith it is the intention of the committee to reserve the morning of each day for the judging 0 of the exhibits placing of awards etc while the afternoon and evenings will be given over to the races ball games etc with a big dance each night the program of racing the purses for each etc are as follows FIRST DAY p in one quarter mile race free for all four Four longs half mile three furlongs five furlongs p in six round boxing bout two wrestling preliminaries two boxing preliminaries A battle royal big dance after SECOND DAY p m three furlongs race free for all four furlongs one fourth mile classified class fied saddle horses three furlongs two year olds only seven furlongs free for all p in I 1 basket ball game between betwee i american legion posts of parowan carowan and cedar city or between the two towns other athletic events of interest big d dance ance after in the opera house THIRD DAY p tn in three furlongs free for all one and one half miles relay race free for all change saddles onto new mounts at the end of each halt hall mile each entry to consist of three horses and the fee is 20 for each entry of four furlongs free for all one mile alile 1500 consolidation race free for all non winners no en trance entrance fee for this race 7 3 0 p in m I 1 4 I 1 good american legion picture show with music and vaudeville in connection dance after rules except where otherwise stated an entrance fee of 15 per cent of the purse will be charged and there must be at least three horses entered and two start in each rac if four horses enter and run in any race the horse finishing second shall save his entrance fee all run on we track must be under the supervision of the sports committee and all races will be started from a barrier or tape |
