| Show Council OK's Ol's Rezoning A public hearing for the purpose of rezoning property located at 1875 South to 2050 South west of Highway and east of Highway 91 was held Tuesday evening at 8 pm p.m. in conjunction with the regular Woods Cross City Council meeting THE PROPERTY was originally originally originally zoned C l. C-l. 1 Request was made by the land owners to change the zoning to an R The piece of property is just south of Woodland Gardens multiple housing units Additional housing units are planned for the requested change area The Council discussed the proposal proposal pro pro- and voted unanimously in m favor of the rezoning Previous to the Council meeting meeting meeting meet meet- ing the Planning Commission for the city of Woods Cross discussed the zoning area and after due consideration requested the zone change An ordinance is to be adopted changing the zoning of that area from C l to an R THE COUNCIL also discussed discussed discussed dis dis- dis- dis cussed the present Clean up Campaign which will continue through Saturday May 9 The truck will circulate throughout the city to pick up debris that the regular garbage pickup will not take on Sat Sat- The only request the Council Council Council Coun Coun- cil had for residents was to tomake tomake tomake make sure those things that are to be taken can be lifted by those working on the truck Many items have been far too heavy for the men and the crew of scouts who have been donating service hours to the city to aid with the clean THE COUNCIL also discussed discussed dis dis- dis cussed areas that people are using to dump refuse which are not to be used for that purpose Signs indicating no dumping or littering will be placed on West access road next to the freeway and at the end of Clark street on 1000 South As well as other areas in the city All refuse is to be picked up by the Saturday garbage pickup or taken to BARD |
