Show Recreation teams gear up for season Park "City Recreation Department basketball will get into full swing in the next couple of weeks when the 3-on-3 season and the 12-team basketball league begin play. The deadline for entering 3-on-3 competition is Dec. 9 and the cost is $15 per team. The Rec Department is accepting out-of-town teams and spokeswoman Pam Bradford said she anticipates as many as 24 teams may enter. If the response is that high, she said, there will be a league for teams under and over 6-feet tall. Trophies will be presented at the end of the season. , Specifics, such as length of game and season, will be decided when the final 3-on-3 entry is submitted. The first game is scheduled for Dec, 14 at III. the Treasure Mountain Middle School. The entry deadline for the full-team full-team basketball league is Dec. 13 and play is scheduled to start Jan 7. Bradford said a maximum of 12 teams will be accepted. Games will be played Tuesday and ' Thursday at the middle school. The entry fee for Park City teams is $275 and $300 for non-Park City teams. Bradford said the entry fee pays for certified officials, trophies and scorekeepters and timekeepers. The schedule is tentatively set to include 10 games and play should end in ear ly March. , .
