Show Park City Ski Team to host Jill Junior Olympics The Park City Ski Team and the Park City Ski Area will host the 1984 Rossignol JIII Junior Olympics in Park City, Utah, March 10-17. Competing for top spots will be outstanding JIII skiers, age 12-13, from the western area which includes Alaska, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, California, Idaho and Utah. Those selected to compete in this meet have qualified in local and divisional races in their respective states. Girls and boys will participate in all events, including downhill, GS and slalom. Those receiving top honors may have an opportunity to attend a United States Ski Team Development Summer Training Camp in Mt. Hood, Oregon. The Western Region Junior Olympics is one of three held in the nation. Possible contenders from the Park City Ski Team include in-clude Stephanie Palmer, Brett Johnson, Jeremy Nobis and Tyler Tebbs. The Prospector Convention Center will serve as hotel host for the skiers, providing housing and meals. The Prospector Ahtletic Club will be used for after-race activities ac-tivities and dryland training. Following the finals on March 17, there will be an awards banquet at Prospector Prospec-tor Square, at which time awards will be presented to all winners, plus an overall award for the most outstanding out-standing male and female skiers.
