But he doesn't. Nancy McComb I'm not sure I agree with everything Jesse Jackson does, but I think the U.S. does not belong in Lebanon or Syria . Betsy Bacon I think it's a very brave thing to do. I doubt it's going to do any good. Politically, it's probably going to hurt him. They should have sent a woman to do a man's job. Bob Reese It's all right as far as I'm concerned. Like all Democrats, he speaks out of the convenient side of the mouth. I ' ' t i i Kurt Gumbrecht It's sort of an admirable goal, but I don't know if he's working in the political process to make sure it's an equitable situation for the people of the U.S. The Marines are over there for a good reason, and without working with President Reagan his (Jackson's) general good meaning could be misconstrued. |
