Show 'Death Trap' director promises thrills and chills "Death Trap" is a thriller of a play that's filled with suspense, excitement, and lots of surprises, says Craig Clyde, director of Park City Performances (PCP) 1983-84 season opener. The play will open Friday, Nov. 11, at the Egyptian Theatre, and will run through Nov. 18. According to Clyde, "Death Trap" is a chilling mystery set in modern times, dealing with murder among friends. "The play is different from the movie," said Clyde. "There are murders when you don't expect them, various sub-plots, and very fast-moving scenes. I get chills up my spine even during rehearsals." Clyde, currently production produc-tion manager at Channel 20 KSTU-TV in Salt Lake, has numerous acting and directing direct-ing credits, as well as being a professional broadcaster for the past 10 years. "The play is made up of only two acts and five characters. These actors are really marvelous," said Clyde. "They work extremely extreme-ly well together, and they're ready to put on an excellent performance." Tickets for "Death Trap" may be purchased for $5.50 general admission, or $4.50 for members of PCP. On Saturday, Nov. 12, a drawing will be held for a 1983 AMC Jeep, before the start of the play, culminating the 1983-84 PCP season ticket drive.
