Show v Dancing the chill away It may be turning cold and blustery outside, but the night scene in Park City is just beginning to warm up. After all, there is nothing like a crowded dance floor and a lively band to thaw your toes and get your circulation cir-culation going. Here are a few ways to beat the big chill this weekend. Alamo The contemporary rock and roll band LD5 will continue con-tinue its run at the Alamo. It steamed up the windows last weekend and promises to do the same from Wednesday through Thursday this weekend. Black Pearl The Black Pearl is coming out of hibernation this weekend. The Ritz, a popular Salt Lake City band, will help heat up the opening festivities each night Wednesday Wed-nesday through Saturday. Cowboy Bar Up the street, Jack Quist, who is best known as the former lead singer for Cow Jazz, will be bringing his special style of country warmth to the Cowboy Bar Wednesday through Saturday. Satur-day. Grub Steak Kent Thompson will provide warm background music for dinner guests at the Grub Steak on Saturday. Adolph's Bob Weisenfeld will be adding ad-ding a classical touch to dinner din-ner dates at Adolph's on Saturday night. Sneakers Don Gomes Will add to the cozy atmosphere at Sneakers with a selection of show tunes and folk ballads on Friday and Saturday nights. Down Under Kat James will keep the home fires burning at the Down Under with a collection collec-tion of country western and folk vocals Wednesday through Saturday. |
