Show ladies luncheon The 29th Annual Park City Ladies Luncheon will be held Saturday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m. at the Grub Steak Restaurant. This luncheon is for any lady living in the Park City area or any former resident. Ladies 80 years of age or older are honored guests. Dorothy Murnin and Nan McPolin are co chairmen. Bookdrop available behind building if you are too embarrassed to bring them in. clean up day The Park City Board of Realtors, the ChamberBureau and the City are sponsoring Park City's second annual Clean-Up Day on Saturday May 14th. Plan to meet at City Park at 8 a.m. to pick up garbage bags and join a team. Teams will be assigned to each section of Park City. Everyone will meet back at City Park at 1 p.m. for a free lunch and prizes! In . addition, the City Dump will be open with free entrance on May 14th from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. For more information call Tina at 649-6100. women's retreat All women of the community are invited to attend a one-day women's retreat to be held at the Park City Community Church this Saturday, April 30, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The theme of the event will be "Solitude: Loneliness or Aloneness," and will feature Linda Barnes as the retreat leader. Cost of the day's activities will be $2.50 which will cover cost of materials and a light lunch. Preregistration is encouraged but not necessary; this may be done by phoning 649-8131. drug and alcohol quorum An informative evening on the use of drugs and alcohol is being sponsored by the Treasure Mountain Middle School PTO. This event, designed especially for family participation will be held on Thursday, May 5, at 7:00 p.m., in the Forum Room of the middle school. Featured speakers will be Sgt. Lloyd Evans of the Park City Police Department, Teresa Nelson of the Prevention Center, and a Salt Lake City parent of teenagers who are substance abusers. The format of the evening will provide for small group discussion. For more information call 649-9142. dance program "Under the Rainbow" a dance recital given by the dance classes of Mary Jane Bird through Community Education will be given May 6, 1983 at 7:30 p.m. The recital, which will feature ballet, tap and jazz will be held at Parley's Park Auditorium. It is free! Children through adults will be performing to such music as "Minuet in G" and "Stray Cat Strut." . Appointments are available for morning, afternoon and evening clinics. The services offered include; physical exams, PAP tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing and contraceptive supplies. Costs for these services are reasonable. No one will be denied use of the clinic and all services are confidential.
