Show Slide1 Show Slated Brett Buchler, who has just returned to Park City from a 5 year extended tour of Europe will give a slide show and lecture Feb. 1 to benefit the Recreation Dept. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and is in the Memorial Bldg. During his stay abroad, Buchler spent time in Germany, Ger-many, France, Austria and Switzerland. In the winter months the traveler skied extensively in the Alps and many of his slides will reflect those experiences. In the summer, Buchler said he . occupied himself surfing along the French coastlines. He adds the sport is surprisingly popular in Biarritz Biar-ritz which according to Buchler is a first rate European surfing location. In addition to sporting scenes, Buchler's slides paint a descriptive picture of the lives and cultures of European residents. Admission price is $1. |
