Show Onflow LrB0to(l Swede Alley Damage $300 in damage was caused to a Salt Lake resident's car Jvan. 22 while it was parked in Swede Alley. Darrell Cope told officers he left the vehicle to see a show on Main St. and when he returned the windshield was smashed, a side mirror broken and the antenna snapped off. Disorderly and Loud Roger Reaves of Park City was arrested for disorderly conduct Jan. 23 after he verbally abused a PCPD officer who was attempting cite him for littering. According to the police report Reaves was cited after he was observed pitching a beer can. Eat, Sleep and be Merry Thomas Walker Field's Crescent Ridge condo was recently broken into by intruders who drank the Salt Lake resident' Vodka, ate his food and slept in his bed. Apparently nothing else was missing but officers dusted the premises for prints just the same. Powder Plate Pilfered A license plate was removed from William Fushimi's vehicle between Jan. 21 and 23 while it was parked in the resort's underground garage. The purloined Opiate was a customized affair that read "Pow-Der ', On Jan. 19 a license plate also disappeared from Miriam Cunningham's car parked on Main Street's 200 block. There was no message on Cunningham's plate, only, standard letters and numbers. Skis, Stereo Stolen Richard Gainer reported the theft of six pair of skis (four with bindings) and a stereo from the garage of his 2209 Doc Holliday Dr. residence Jan. 21. Investigating officers believe the theives pulled their vehicle inside the garage, loaded it up and departed. The skis were a special new demo models and officers suspect the culprits knew of their location in Gainer's garage. 'Slim Jim' Gets Skis Two pair of skis and poles disappeared Jan. 21 from Marvin Kensingberg's car parked behind the Holiday Inn. Officers suspect a "slim jim" may have been used to gain entry to the locked vehicle. Bomtx Threat Can't Stop Dinner A bomb threat caused a flutter of activity at Main Street's Car 19 Restaurant Jan. 19, but did not force the evacuation of the popular establishment. L. Guns, an employee at Car 19, picked up the phone at 6:58 p.m. and listened as a "young sounding male" warned, "A bomb is going to go off in your establishment in 4 minutes." A quick search of the premises by Manager Mike Spring failed to turn up any explosive devices and a subsequent inspection with PCPD officers and restaurant employees was also fruitless. After questioning by officers, none of the employees could think of anyone who could have possibly made the threatening phone call. No Place to Sleep Edward Allen Shipley was arrested for public intoxication Jan. 24 after he laid across hood of a PCPC patrol vehicle in full view of officers inside. According to the police report Shipley became difficult during the 26 mile trip to the Coalville jail and twice "kicked the steering wheel nearly causing the vehicle to leave the road." |
