Show tmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmammtmmmmmmmmammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Twi-Lite Run The 7th Annual Park City Twi-Lite Run will be held Saturday, June 19, at 7:00 p.m. The race will start and finish at the Park City high school, with the four mile course running through Park Meadows. Because of the tremendous interest in participation, there will be no registration on the day of the race. Following the race, a party sponsored by Lite Beer from Miller will be held at the Park City Ski Resort Plaza from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Swim Lessons at Park West Park West will be offering swim lessons at the Red Pine pools beginning June 28 and will be taught by a professional certified staff. According to Harold W. Buchner, Recreation Director, "If you are not satisfied with the progress of your child in our program, your money will be cheerfully refunded." The classes meet two days per week with 12 classes being held. Separate classes will be held for each ability, ages tot through adult. k . , A special open plunge will be held every Friday & Saturday from 9 aim. - 11 a.m. for kids and families involved in the program. A fee of $1.25 per child, $1.50 for adults for $5.00 per family will be charged. Call 649-2900 or 649-5555 and ask for Mr. Buchner. Father's Day Tourney The Park City Mens Golf Association is having a special Fathers Day Tournament. It is an 18 hole tournament with individual stroke play. Engry fee is $15 plus green fees. There will be a barbecue at 3:00 at Sneakers where prizes will be awarded. Wives and kids are invited. Please sign up or call the Pro Shop by Friday, .June 18th. Rec Dept. Notes Running Class A non-runners introduction to running, taught by Curt Graf with diet and nutrition tips by Maggie Reno. Class will run for 10 weeks and will meet Monday and Wednesdays from 6 -7 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 8-9 a.m. $15 for the 10-week session. For more information call 649-7598. Karate Chinese Kempo continues through the summer with session I beginning Thursday, June 17. Calligraphy Beginning and intermediate class offered through the Park City Recreation Department. First session begins Thursday June 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Memorial Building. Call 648-7156 for more information. Dog Obedience Having problems with a new puppy? This class teaches you how to train your dog. Session begins Thursday, June 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Memorial Building. Dogs must be at least 6 months old. Utah State Muzzleloading Championships Spend this Saturday, June 19, in the Uintah Mountains and watch the 13th Annual Muzzleloading Championships. Bus leaves city park at 9:30 a.m. Kids must have a permission slip to ride the bus. Cost: $1.00 per person. Sponsored by the "Mountainmen of the Wasatch". For further information call 649-1152.
