Sincerely, The KAC Staff David Fernandez Franci Eisenberg Kathleen Taylor Bonnie Novelle Dear Park City Residents: All of us on the staff of the Kimball Art Center would like to say a sincere 'thanks' to the many Park City residents and visitors who joined us last Thursday evening for a Park City Open House. Indeed we saw many new faces and many old familiar ones too. As promised, prom-ised, a balloon ride was awarded to the person who increased his or her membership by the largest lar-gest dollar amount. This spectacular specta-cular ride went to Warren King who wrote a check to the Art Center that evening for $250. Second prize of a huge ceramic bottle thrown by Art Center Director David Fernandez went to Ted Warr, who donated $110 that evening. And above all, a very special thanks goes to the Kimball Art Guild; without their help, the event would not have happened. Toni Doilney, Nancy Nipko, Ute Ruzicka, Marianne Cone, Marilyn Mari-lyn Modling, Raye Ringholz, Martha Brown and Holly Rom of the Guild, and of course, Guild President Tina Lewis -- your efforts were extraordinary. And too, so were all of the gourmet goodies which miraculously appeared ap-peared from the kitchens of all of the Guild members to indeed make the party a festive, if not fattening one! Thanks too, go out to Susan Jarman, Betty Watts, Cathy Morris and Janet Goldstein who greeted guests at the front desk for us. We want you all to know how much we appreciate our time and efforts. They were enjoyed by all and because of them, more than $1,200 was raised that evening and many new people got to know us. And too, a special thanks to Bobby Burns of the Ski Co. who donated the string quartet entertainment, to Stewart Roberts who donated the balloon ride, and to our |
