As far " , as . we have ( been able to , '.learn; basing our knowledge principally upon their actions . as public officers having but a slight acquaintance with the majority of them, we are inclined to believe that there will be no( opposition. No . public riian. can please everyone, that is a forgone conclusion. Vbut we fee) confident that no ' great effort, if any. will be made to oust tlie present officials at . the coming election. Judge Asper has been faithful and impartial in the dischrage of his duties. County Clerk . Robert Salmon has been also faithful and prompt in the business connected with his office, while our Sheriff. Mr, F.M. Allison, has a record as ; an official that few Sheriff s "in Utah possess. He is alwavs readv and willing to go whether there is money in it or not; The" office of Selectman must also be supplied with someone and we know of none better than the present incumbent. Judge G.G. Snyder of this city. He is one of the oldest settlers here ; arid is' fully conversant with the wants and needs of our town.
