'Gambling-types' Caught ... fteparing : For Poker .Exhibition Park City Police Chief Mike Crowlev arrested this week three local residents who were involved in illegal gambling activities at a "dive" on Main Street. The three gambling-types, whose names will not be revealed until next week, according to Chief Crowley, were reportedly sharpening up their card plaving skills in preparation for1 the High: Roller Poker Exhibition to be held November 15 at the , - Chamber of Commerce's annual "Snowflaker's Ball" at the Holidav Inn. Commenting on . the gambling gam-bling bust, the Chief said, ' 'Intelligence information has been gathered for some time. and as a result of that, we've been able to successfully success-fully impale these ratballs with ' the ' heavv sword of justice. The High-Roller Poker Exhibition has apparently attracted the attention of many famous gamblers from various parts of the United " ' States; furthermore, it is believed that some, of these I gamblers are preparing to attend the November 15 "Showflaker's Ball" event.: . And several Park City gamblers were seen leaving town this week en route to Las Vegas in order to tune up their gambling skills. The Chamber's Director said that since no money will be tansacted during the "Snowflaker's Ball," all entertainment activities are legal; consequently, no threat exists of a bust.
