Mailing List Update While working on our 1980 membership drive, we're interested in-terested in updating our mailing list. If you've noted any corrections to be made with regard to P.O. New Chamber Members We are happy to welcome Bagel Nosh, Holiday Cinemas III, Main St. Photographer, Park City Furniture, Powder Room, Prospector Development Develop-ment Co., Ski Connection, Summit Savings and Loan and Sunset Sports Center as new Chamber members. Next Board Meeting The next Board of Directors meeting for the Chamber will be held Thursday, February 28 at 8:00am at Cafe Ritz, 402 Main St. Reservations are required, as breakfast will be served. Please call the Chamber Cham-ber office at 649-8899. Thanks to all who attended the Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting. We had a total of 50 members present and missed all of those who were unable to attend. It was an enjoyable social gathering to begin the 1980 year, with both new and old members. Chamber "business" was to the point, as presented by retiring Board President Dick Wilde. Accomplishments for the year 1980 were highlighted, highlight-ed, including the tremendous increase in membership we've realized in the last year, the fact that we've finally become a viable organization, and the success we've had with our employee orientation workshops. work-shops. Community Brochure Packets The Chamber store-room is bursting with borchures which -were designed and printed with you in mind. The following information is available avail-able in quantity from our office: Historical Walking Tour; Park City Winter Lodging Lod-ging Rates 79-80; Map of Park City; Winter Calendar; 1980 Park City Information Booklet; and Ski Utah planner. Please contact Tika on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday with the selection and quantity of brochures you want. We would appreciate your picking up your brochures by Friday, February 15. Employee Orientation Workshops Work-shops 200 plus employees, representing repre-senting 27 Park City businesses, business-es, participated in this year's seminars. Although somewhat hesitant to attend, 99 of the participants left the 2lA hour session more familiar with the resources Park City has to offer to the tourist and the resident; Each participant received a "Community Information In-formation Packet" which included in-cluded brochures and the 1979-80 Employee Information Booklet. - V The second phase of the workshops is the upcoming "Amenities Tours" available tp all participants of the workshops.: Discounts will be offered for skiing, use of athletic and recreation facilities, facilit-ies, and invitations to gallery openings. Each employee who attended the workshops will receive a calendar of amenities ameni-ties events at their place, of employment. Please encour-l age their participation during their off time. Tika Beard, Communica-tions Communica-tions Coordinator, is available to conduct workshops for audiences of 30 plus. Please .contact the Chamber office to schedule a time and place convenient to your employees. Constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome so that this Chamber effort can better serve its members and their employees. We've Moved Again...
