Free. spaghetti benefit There will be a benefit spaghetti dinner Tuesday, Nov. 30 at the Eating Establishment from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $4 for adults, $1.50 for children under 12. AH proceeds will go towards the purchase of a heart monitor defibrulator for the Park City Ambulance crew. Everyone is urged to attend this worthwhile function. christmas choir Anyone interested in participating in the Christmas Choir sponsored by Park City Community Church, is asked to contact Janet Mann at 649-8469. Practices are held each Sunday from 12 to 12:30 p.m. at the church, 402 Park Avenue. stake dancing Are your ready for the Young Adult Regional Dance? The Park City Stake is getting together with the Coalville region Friday night, . Nov. 26 at the Coalville Stake House. The "Card Dance" will begin at 8:30 p.m. and last until 11:30 p.m. Refreshments will accompany what should prove to be a very lively evening of dancing and fun. The attire is dresses for girls, slacks for guys. Plus, there is no charge! turkey shoot winners Fifty contestants participated in the Turkey Shoot held Friday night, November 19, at the Memorial Building. Eight turkeys were given away to the highest scorer in each age-group category. The following participants won in their respective groups: 11 years old and under: male, Perry Leatham (36 pts.); female, Madelyn Marcellin (14 pts.); 12 years old to 15: male, Jim Marcellin (39 pts.); female, Debbie Broadhead (33 pts.); 16 years old to 55: male, Bart Thomas (48 pts.); female, Melanie Decker (30 pts.); 56 years old and above: male, D.M. Henderson (49 pts.); female, Lucille Henderson (40 pts.). A Boobie Prize (one box of stuffing) went to Helen Marcellin for the lowest score, 7 pts. Contestants used 22 calibre rifles with open sites, shooting at a target twenty-five yards away. |
