Show Resort Snow Conditions Remain Stable Park City Resort is reporting good to excellent conditions on the slopes as of Tuesday of this week, however skiing is remains limited to the upper areas of the mountain. The base lodge has 12 inches of snow, the Summit House has 23 inches, and Jupiter Bowl has 43 inches. 40 percent of Jupiter is skiable. The Resort reports business as normal during the weekdays and moderately crowded over this past weekend. Snow continues to be made whenever temperatures allow, but there is not enough snow yet to open lower portions of the mountain. The Gondola as well as chairlifts Prospector, Jupiter, and Thaynes remain open. The U.S. Ski Team and Lost Prospector chairlifts were open earlier in the week but were closed as of Tuesday. There will not be night skiing until Payday Run can be adequately covered with man-made man-made snow, or until Mother Nature lends a hand. The following runs at Park City Resort are open: Blue Slip, Silver Queen, Scotts Bowl, Keystone, Single Jack, and 40 percent of Jupiter Bowl. Lift tickets are $11, full-day adult and $7, half-day; $6 full-day children and $4 half-day. |
