Police Find Giant Weed Stash Park City police recovery 40 individually bagged 40 pounds of marijuana last Tuesday, with a street value of up to $30,000, from the attic of an undisclosed local apartment complex. The stash, which included an additional 8 to 10 pounds of marijuana seeds, was uncovered by a maintenance man on a routine check of the attic. No arrests had been made at press time, but police are questioning several suspects and hope to find a match for fingerprints found on the large baggies containing the substance. The attic was reportedly a communal space for the unnamed unnam-ed apartment complex, but was not normally used as a storage area. Police Chief Garth Wilkinson said it was the largest amount of marijuana ever recovered by local authorities. Although police declined to name exactly where the pot was found, sources reported that residents of the Holiday Village low-cost housing complex were being questioned. |
