HERE THEY COME Race for world's baseball championship cham-pionship in Junior division will start at Copper Ball Park next Monday when Hghland Boy meets Bingham in the opening game of the American Legion Junior League. .More than a . hundred young athletes have registered for places on one or another of the six teams which have been organized in the Bingham district. Nearly everv boy of eligible age within the division di-vision has been "tryng out" at the local park during the past few days. The rivalry for positions on the various teams has been keen and the "Magnates" have had hard work selecting their teams. The success of the Junior leu- gue in 1929, its first Beason here, was little short of phenominiil. The present year should see still further progress. The wholesome sport, development of our boys, both physically and mentally and lastly the opportunity of bringing bring-ing a national championship to the district, are worthy objectives which should inspire the best there is in our boys and receive the loyal patronage of the citizens. citi-zens. The expenses are not so great this year as in 1929 but the support sup-port which is really needed is the interest of the community. Attend At-tend as many of the games as possible pos-sible and "root" for your favorite favor-ite team. It will encourage the boys and help to develop the best there is in them.
