Show Voter Registration Locations Are Listed for Summit County first time, it will not be necessary neces-sary to obtain a transfer from the old agent, but you must register reg-ister with your new agent. It is now possible for persons per-sons living temporarily away from home to register and vote. All they have to do is request a registration form from the County Clerk, then after receiving re-ceiving the forms, have them properly filled out and have some other person witness their signatures. This applies to service men, missionaries, college students or any others away from home. After taking care of the registeration problems, prob-lems, they must request an absentee ab-sentee ballot from the County Clerk at Coalville. There are several important contests on the State level for the primary election, Sept. 12, There is one contest on the republican re-publican side for the County, that being for two year commissioner com-missioner between Archie C. Pace and Dale Leavitt, the winner win-ner of this contest will oppose Koy Page in the November election. Also on the local scene, there is one contest for school board member in Woodland-Francis to be on the primary ballot. Four men have filed for the position. Theron W. Atkinson, LaVerl Bushell, Elmer Koh-konen, Koh-konen, and William H. Lemon. Two of these will be eliminated at the primary election. 1972 is an important General Election. Any one living in this district may register at any of the other Park City precincts or with the County Clerk, until we can talk some one into taking the job. The law requires re-quires that you must vote at least once every four years, either in a city election or a general election to maintain voter status. Some times a person registers but fails to vote in that election. Their names are taken from the registration books and it is necessary to register again. I have noticed this especially espec-ially with the 18 and 19 year old voters. Last year was the first time that any in this age group were permitted to vote. Some of these young people registered, but did not vote in the city elections, and therefore, are not on the books for this general gen-eral election.
