Show Former Summit Dairyman Dead at 75 Years Middleton, Idaho Verl L. Mills, 75, 210 S. Hawthorne St., a leading Summit Sum-mit County, Utah, dairyman for 25 years, who served the Park City area as co-owner of the Mills Brothers Dairy, died Thursday in a Caldwell hospital. The Mills ranch is just east of the cemetery and north of town and the family was there for many years. Mr. Mills served during World War I, andwas a member of the Park City Post of the American Legion before moving out of state. He was also a member mem-ber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A native of Hoytsville, Utah, he was born Jan. 4, 1897, to Samuel J. and Olive Crittenden Mills. On July 12, 1924, he married Alice Kidder in Park . City. Survivors include his widow of Middleton; one son and two daughters, Jack V., Mrs. Jean Dean, both Middleton; Mrs. La-Rae La-Rae Branham, Eagle River, Wis.; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Kenneth, Ken-neth, Provo; Harris, Salt Lake City; Elton, Costa Mesa, Calif.; Virgil, San Jose, Calif.; and Mrs. Gladys Anirew,Santa Ana, Calif. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Monday at 8090 S. State St., Midvale, Utah. Burial was in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. |
