Show Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Andrew Kote Golden Date in California Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Andrew An-drew will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Saturday, August 14, with a reception for their many friends and relatives at the Santa Ana Women's Wo-men's Club. Tom Andrew and Gladys Mills were married 50 years ago in Park City, Utah, in 1923 they moved to Orange, and in 1924 they moved into a small neighborhood neigh-borhood grocery store located on what is now the northeast corner of the parking lot of Santa Ana Community Hospital, In 1944 the Andrews sold their grocery store and Mr. Andrew-became Andrew-became a real estate broker. His last office was on the land now occupied by the parking lot of the C rocker-Citizens' National Na-tional Bank on Broadway in Santa Ana. Mr. Andrew retired from active selling in 1965. He has been a long-time member of the Santa Ana Elks and the American Legion. Mrs.Andrew is active in the Santa Ana Third Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew will greet guests at the door with their daughter Lucille, Mrs. August Winter of Vallejo, California, Calif-ornia, and their son Thomas L. Andrew of Irvine, California. Arrangements for the reception recep-tion were made by the Andrews' granddaughters Kathleen Andrew, An-drew, a sophomore at UCI, and Patricia Andrew, a senior at U n i v e r s i t y High S c h o o 1 in Irvine. Assisting at the reception recep-tion will be Mrs. Marvin E. Huff of Milpitas, California; Mrs. Johnnie Kinnear of Santa . Ana; Mrs. Robert Andrew of Anaheim; and Mrs. Thomas L. Andrew of Irvine. |
