Show Hot Dog Skiing Race Is Dated By Randy Montgomery Park City Resort and Dick Barrymore Productions have set Friday, March 31, 1972 for a Hot Dog Skiing Contest with over $500.00 worth of prizes to be awarded the winners. Action will begin at 12:00 p.m. on the Resort's Double Jack Run. Entrants take one run before five judges who score the skier on excitement, speed, control and jumps ("hot dog" skiing) during the run. Action from the contest will be included in one or two ski films produced by Dick Barrymore for next season. sea-son. The Park City Resort Hot Dog Skiing Contest is one of three such contests co-sponsored by ski filmmaker Barrymore. Barry-more. The contest is open to all skiers and prizes will be awarded award-ed in several categories. Prizes include two Park City Resort 1972-73 season ski passes, ski equipment and apparel, gift certificates and trophies. Spectators Spec-tators are invited to view the contest. |
