Show March Library Month in Park March is a very important month at the Park City Library! Just take a peek at the window. All green and white for St. Patrick's Day; and there is an invitation to step inside and meet "SCHOBLIC" . . . you'll find it's a system used to inter.-!, est students in SCHOol and puBLIC libraries! And there is also an interesting inter-esting pictorial history of the telephone -from the very first one invented in 1876 by Alexander Alex-ander Graham Bell who was born in March of 1847, to the. latest new look in phones the picture phone. A placard in the Library window win-dow proclaims that some unusual un-usual things have happened in March ... on March 9, 1822 a patent was granted for artificial teeth! The very first pencil with an eraser was patented pat-ented on March 30, 1859; and Patrick Henry uttered his famous words 'Give Me Liberty of Give Me Death" on March 23 in 1775. |
