Show President of Greater Park Cily Winter Sports Award Winner Greater Park City Company President J. Warren King was named 'Outstanding Contributor Contrib-utor to Winter Sports" in Utah for 1973 by the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented by the Chamber's Winter Sports Committee in recognition of Greater Park City Company's proposal to locate a permanent year-round National Training Center for use by the U.Ski Teams at Park City. Mr. King was honored at an awards banquet held Tuesday, May 15 at Park City Resort. Some 65 persons attended the banquet including Salt Lake City Mayor E. J. Jake Garn, Salt Lake City Commissioner Conrad Con-rad B. Harrison, Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President Fred Ball, Forest Service Director Chandler St. John and Utah Highway Department Director Blaine Kay. Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Winter Sports Com-.mitteeman Com-.mitteeman Ed Madsen presented present-ed Mr. King with a handsome plaque recognizing him as the 1973 Outstanding Contributor to Winter Sports in Utah as well as the Winter Sports Committee's Commit-tee's traveling plaque listing past recipients of the award.
