Show City Seeks Order Prohibiting Selective Use of Tramway Park City Municipal Corporation Cor-poration has petitioned the State Public Service Commission to set a date for a hearing to enter an order prohibiting selective use of Greater Park City Company's Com-pany's tramway systems, and further to impose standards upon Greater Park City as a common carrier and public utility under state laws. According to the petition: 'prior to May 16, 1973 the Greater Great-er Park City Company by and through its duly authorized representatives rep-resentatives announced a notice of intention to prohibit the general gen-eral public from utilizing certain cer-tain aerial bucket tramways located on property owned by the company." The petition also points out the company by and through its duly authorized representatives have made public statements to the effect that it is their intention in-tention to restrict the use of the tramway system and to select sel-ect at their discretion persons authorized to use the tramwa-systems tramwa-systems and the natural resources re-sources of Park City. Not deleted in the document filed with the state commission commis-sion is the fact that Greater Park City Company has required requir-ed all persons owning property within the boundaries of Park City to file an application revealing re-vealing certain facts which appear ap-pear to be contrary to the laws of the state according to the petitioner, Park City Municipal Corporation. Greater Park City President J. Warren King said Tuesday: "Greater Park City Corporation is studying the latest developments develop-ments with regards to the action ac-tion being taken by the City Government and will communicate commun-icate with City Officials and Citizens of Park City as soon as possible. Public Service Commission spokesmen stated a hearing date has not yet been set. |
