Show Property Tax Increases The total property tax rate imposed for city, county, school, and other purposes in Park City during 1974 was increased by 6.542 mills, according to an analysis prepared by Utah Foundation, the private tax research organization. - Park City's overall property prop-erty tax levy in 1974 is 93.26 mills ($93.26 per $1,000 assessed valuation). This compares with a total levy of 86.718 mills in 1973 and 110.45 in 1970. The following fol-lowing tabulation shows the trend in Park City's total tax rate since 1950: 1950. 62.05; 1960, 89.00; 1965, 107.23; 1970, 110.45; 1973, 86.718; 1974, 93.26. Approximately 49 of the total property taxes charged charg-ed in Park City this year will go for school purposes. The Foundation report indicated that 40 of the property tax collected in Park City will go for municipal purposes, and 11 for county purposes.
