Docs anyone in Bingham know how many tourists visit our world renowned community every day I Does anyone in Bingham care? Never a day passes, especially during the summer months, but; what a large number of visitors from all parts of the world come in our midst to see what many term as the Eighth Wonder of the World, namely, the moving of a mountain. Professors from the leading universities, at home and abroad, commercial leaders of foreign countries, leading citizens from our big American centers md from our humble towns, university uni-versity students, who will become Lhe leaders of to-morrow ; in fact men and women from every conceivable con-ceivable walk of life eome to our town to gather information and knowledge. And who guides them about, who points out the places if interest, who lectures to these people, who does the talking? An jutsider, a bus driver from Salt Lake City in most instances. Are you inclined to believe that the outside lecturer does justice to he vast subject? Let any interested inter-ested citizen tag along with a conducted con-ducted party of tourists and lint. in. To be brief, permit me to suggest sug-gest that we of Bingham do the biking for our town. iN'aturally tourists take in the town while here and many know the false notions no-tions that are attained, and the ?roneous conclusions arrived at. It would be such an easy matter for any one of our civic organizations organiza-tions or a new organization, call it what' you will, to foster a Information In-formation or Lecture, Bureau whereby cordiality and reliable information could de disseminated. disseminat-ed. Numerous well informed men and women can be found in this community who would gladly give an afternoon each week to welcome wel-come tourists and tell them of the development and growth of this internationally, known spot ; to speak of the daring and sacrifice of its pioneers and benefactors to make known the names and deeds of those who built aiwl developed de-veloped this outstanding project ind lastly, to correctly inform the interested visitors about the existing conditions and problems and what is being done by our various organizations towards a betterment.
