R Salmon a n native of Coalville and a long time resident of Summit county died at a Rock Springs Wyoming Wyom Wyom- Wyoming WyomIng ing hospital the result of an accidental explosion of condemned dynamite In a C. C C C. C. C forestry camp at Manila located In Daggett county Utah the day ous The cause of the accident Is one of those that will likely ever remain un un- explained I Mr 1 Salmon had been forestry foreman i of this camp for the past three years years years- ears but had been prominently connected with the forest service since 1930 I Deceased who Is a nephew of Mr W W. B. B Wilson of this city was well known in Summit county and was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends who will wm sincerely mourn his untimely death Mr Salmon was born In Coalville Utah In 1891 a son of Mr and Mrs Frank D D. Salmon He was graduated from the tho old Summit stake academy at Coal Coal- Coalville yule ville and married Martha Jones of Lex Lex- Lexington LexIngton Lexington ington Kentucky Kentuck In 1913 He served overseas In the Infantry as a n first sergeant He was a former commander of LeRoy Benson American Legion post at Coalville and a prominent member of Uintah Lodge No 7 F. F A. A M. M of Park P City C I Surviving besides his parents are his widow residing In Salt Lake City nine sisters and brothers Mrs Wilfred Sim- Sim I ister and Earl W W.
