NOTICE OF INTENTION of the city council of ogden city of creating a district for paring and ot paving the streets therein and to dej fray the expenses of such improvement bv local assessments the city council of ogden city sit in weber county state of utah gives notice that it intends to make the following improvements to wit to pave all that part of washington avenue in said city lying and being within the south line of street and the south line of street J this shall be known as paving district no 1 and the said city council further intends to grade pave curb and gutter the streets of said paving district in the manner follo to wit to curb with a band stone curbing 5 inches thick and 21 2 1 inches deep to build a sand stone block gutter not less than C feet wide to pave the street intersections with sand stone blocks to buila waterways at said intersect iora 0 o coi ay creta with cast iron rovers to build crosswalks cross walks of sand stone flags 18 inches wide and 7 inches thick to require tha ogden rapid transit company to pave a strip in the center ot washington avenue in said district 10 feet 8 inched wide on either sade of said center line of washington avenue except nt the intersections of cross streets which part of said pavement shall be paved by ogden city and to pave all the remaining portion street as above designated with asphaltum on a base of portland cement concrete 6 inches thick the boundaries of the district to ba affected and benefited are lines run feet back and parallel with tha outer lines of each side of the street on each and every block and for the full length thereof therein the estimated cost of such improvement is for the payment of the costs and expenses thereof alie city council intends to levy local taxes upon the real estate lying and being within said paving dia y tact to the extent of the benefits to such property by reason of such im prove ments y cann will on friday tha f day of march 1002 at 8 p m at the city council chamber city hall ogden utah hear objections in wald any and all persons inter bated in said local assessments by order of tha city council dated march 5 1002 W J city recorder
