Show Firemen's Dance a Big Success The Bingham Volunteer Fire Departments Masquerade Ball given in the Canyon Hall on last Tuesday evening was a decided success, in spite of a heavy snow storm a large number attended. It., I. Farrell was chairman of the committee and each commit-man commit-man worked with a will. Prizes were awarded as follows for nlost handsome ladies costume: cos-tume: Miss Josephine Dahlstrom this prize was the gift of the J. Bogan Hardware Co. Gents mose handsome costume Lou Miller, this prize was donated donat-ed by the Bingham Mercantile Co. Ladies best sustained character char-acter Miss Margaret Anderson this prize was also the gift of the Bingham Mercantile Co. The prize for the gents best sustained character was won by A. P. Bobbins and was donated by A. Tremelling. For the ladies best comic character the prize was somewhat divided it representing repre-senting a nigger lady and picca-niny picca-niny (16 months old) this prize was awarded to the little daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Miles llart- man. Miss Mary Miles Hartman Mrs. Hartman enjoying the fun by carrying the youngster on her back. This prize was the gift of the Schramm-Johnson Drug Co. The prize for the gents comic character was won by John Quist and was the gift of the J. C. Penny Pen-ny Co. The eight piece orchestra furnished fur-nished capable music and the evening ev-ening was thoroughly enjoyed. |
