Show I and enable us to appreciate Architect Archi-tect Kietting's design, as it will ap- ! pc.tr in its full completeness. The interior of the buildings will be redecorated under the supervision of Mr. Fred Simon. The grand stand, a large additional addition-al wood structure, being erected on the south side of the east half of the enclosed fair grounds, is progressing progress-ing rapidly and will beautify,as well as facilitate, by its seating capacity, the attractive features of the fair. When completed and painted, its ornate design will be admired by all. In the evenings the grounds will be lit up by four electric arc lights, besides which two additional arc lights will illuminate the surroundings, surround-ings, from the tops of the main towers. The interior of the buildings build-ings will be one blaze of incandescent incandes-cent electric lights. Two motors driven by a currant from the Street Railroad Company power house, will operate the two dynamos and form an interesting feature to all visitors. The committee have engaged Hold's band of fourteen performers, which ensures a choice selection of music during the day, while the evening promenade concerts will unquestionably be delightful. I Nelson A. Empey, chairman of the executive committee, is sparing no pains to have every detail attended at-tended to, and his well known ability abil-ity in executive management of previous pre-vious fairs, bespeaks the convenience conven-ience of visitors, exhibitors and competitors receiving every consideration consid-eration possible. One exhibit will be the manufacture manufac-ture of artificial ice, in large transparent trans-parent blocks, in the centres of which will be frozen fruit, flowers, fish, etc. The exhibit of horses and cattle will be large and representative Cache County and Utah County oarticularlv so. A speed programme is being prepared pre-pared for Saturday, October nth, at 3 p. ni., to be carried out at the Driving Park race track, particulars of which will be ennounced. The following special premiums are in addition to those printed in premium iists: W. P. Howen and Pro. of Spanish Fork, give $5 for the best groomed stallion exhibited at the fair, to be paid to the groom having care of the horse to which prize is awarded. The Consolidated Implement Company give a Utility road cart, value S45, to the best matched(as to color and size) and largest regular work team, either horses or mares. FAIR FORECASTS. From Secretary Heber M. Wells we learn the following interesting items about the approaching October Octo-ber territorial fair.
