BIGGEST SHEEP BREEDERS HERE Three of the biggest sheep breeders breed-ers In the world arrived in Ogden esterday to attend the International Sheep Show and auction sales to bo held In conjunction with the big ex-Llbltlon. ex-Llbltlon. They bring with them over 1.000 of the highest grade stock in the world and have entered In both the premium exhibition and sales department, adding considerable quality qual-ity to the class of both 6hows. John Raw lings, a breeder of fancy Cotswold sheep, the owner of the Shawanoo Hill stock farm at Forest, Ont, cno of Canada's best known sheepmen. Is hero with 500 Cotswold sheep and some 44 Dartmores. His stock are hero principally for the auction feature, but he also has made a few entries In niodt every class for the prizes. Mr. Rawllngs' stock Is known tho world over and has taken hlue ribbons rib-bons at every show In which ho entered. en-tered. He Is expected to Lake away with him some of the honors In tho classes he enters. His dale stock Is considered very valuable and will bo much sought after In the sales, for every prospective purchaser of breeding breed-ing fcheep, especially rams, knows that these would be desirable acquisitions acqui-sitions to any flock. W. A. McKerrow, representing Geo. McKcrrow & Sons of Pewaukeo, Wis., a small sheep town near Wakasha, is here In charge of 100 Oxfords, and a bunch of Shropshires and Haiupahlres. These sheep are all Imported Im-ported stock, having been brought from England and Scotland for lho sole purpose of showing and selling nt the coming Ogden show and exhibition. exhi-bition. McKerrow's stock Is known tho world over for its high class ami can be recommended to any ahoepnuin reeking now blood. He will exhibit for the prizes in various classes aud Is exported to make a good showing. A. G. Wood of A Wood & Sons, Sallno, Mich., has 140 Ranibouletts and Delaines. The sheep are forhoth alo arid exhibition purposes and arc of the best. Thoe three breeders havo added much to the national interest being taken in the Ogden show and ach is much enthused over the preparations and prospects lor the coming sheep days.
