The mayor's Ic ter says: "Number 7m, Clinton Prison: "Dear Sir I thank you exceedingly for your kind letter. I am glad to receive the iri.od will of all those who desire to amend and leid good lives. I am well awaie that many of yo;i are not really bad men but unfortunate unfortun-ate men, and that Cod so seos you.
