Show INQUEST -IN' LOCHKEAD ,CASE In the passing from mortality Tuesday Tues-day of William Stevenson Ijochhead, through the unfortunate automobile accident, Ogden city lost one of Its most honorable and highly esteemed young business men. bringing uot alone deep -sorrow to his relatives, hut also to a host of friends ! lie was born at (Jhmgow, Scotland. October 4. 1ST5, was the soa ' George and Elizabeth Stevenson Loch-head. Loch-head. He was baptized Into the letter let-ter Day Salntfl church when a boy and with his parent, brothers aud sisters came to Utah June 1889. and hn resided In Ogden city eer 6lnce. For a number of years he was a truster! trust-er! employe of the John Scowcroft & Sons company. July 22, ISDft Mr. Lochhead departed for his native land, Scotland, when he labored energetically ener-getically and faithfully for over two jears preaching the Gospel. Iu 1 !"il he returned home and again entered the service of Messrs. Scowcroft at Pocatello, Idaho. He was married July 5th, 1905. to Miss Pearl Helle-well. Helle-well. Three beautiful children have been born to their happy wedlock. May 2Sih. 1908 Mr. uorkhead severed his connection with the Scowcrofts and took a nosition with the Fred J. Klesel company as salesman, which position he occupied with honor until September of last year, when he accepted ac-cepted the position as city salesman for the Hemmenway and Moser Cigar company, at. which work he was engaged en-gaged at the time of his untimely demise. de-mise. Mr. Lockhead was a faithful member mem-ber of the Latter Day Saint church. He was president and counselor 'of the Young Men's Mutual Implement Imple-ment association of the Fifth Ward for two yeare. JjBter he served as a member of the Weber Stake Y. M. M I. A. board, and was for years an active Sunday school teacher, and priesthood worker. The grandfather of the deceased was one of the first six who became members of the L. I). S. church when l he Gospel was first taken to Scotland Scot-land by missionaries sent out from Xauoo He is survived by a loving wife, three children, parents, five brothers and five sisters. The funeral services over tho remains re-mains will bo held Sunday at 2 o'clock at the Fifth Ward meeting house. County Attorney Jensen, with a Jury composed of S. W. Crapim. James Jensen and John M Bailey viewed the remains this morning at Larkin & Son's undertaking parlors, and continued the Inoust until sometime some-time next week, when a thorough Investigation In-vestigation of the circumstance of the deah will be made. |
