Show GOOD CITIZENSHIP SALLY ATJiRCH A representative audience met last night under the auspices of the Ogdn Women's Christian Temperance Union at the First Methodist church in the interest of good fellowship. Mrs. J. S. Cordon presided and an excellent musical mu-sical program was given: The speakers were A. W Acee and the Rev. Frederick V. Flcher. Mr. Agee read a carefully prepared paper showing the value of prohibition to Ogden. He prefaced his address hy disclaiming any dcslro to be partisan and expressing his regret that recent speeches wcro po construed when he was Innocent of any such a design and only spoke on the prime principle of the Betterment league, Mr. Fisher reported the great "Oregon "Ore-gon Dry" campaign in Oregon and of which he was a leader and In relation to conditions In I'tah spoke as follows: fol-lows: "To a newcomer It appears strange that a state which was founded found-ed by a great Christian body and 1 5 largely peopled by It should be yet "wet" and that man-ruled Kansas.
