Show Cuba Alarmed Over an Outbreak in Province of Santiago Havana, July 2G. The government govern-ment Is much alarmed over the Insurrection In-surrection at Fd Caney, province of Sanjlago Following a midnight council at the palace troops wera today rushed to the disaffected dls trlct. The Insurgents are rcportc 1 as retreating to the hills pursued by troops already iu the province. The insurrection is said to bo of a serious character. Iast night tho government learned that General M Inlet In-let and Col. Jane, revolutionary veterans vet-erans had taken to the woods at the bead of about a score of followers. M Inlet Is a man of inllueiice and it was feared many malcontents would rally aruond his standard. The council of war was hastily called at the palace It was determined determ-ined to rush troops to El Coney. Early this morning trains carrying 13oo troops.
