Show OODEN NEARER DENVER. Cheyenne is to lose some of its importance as a railroad center by the new Carr-to-Borie cut-off which is about to be put in service by the Union Pacific in its traffic from Denver west. This cat-off will save 28 miles and-make possible a nineteen-hour train schedule between Denver and Ogden. The distance from Of den to Denver, through Cheyenne, is 589 miles, which is to be reduced to 561 miles. While Cheyenne suffers by the change, Union Pacific through traffic via Denver will bo greatly expedited. |
