It was announced, that when the president and bis family and a party of friends leave hero on the Mayflower Monday, they will head directly for tho bay of Fundy and the waters about Eastport. This will be the farthest north. Turning there, the presidential yacht will thread Its way through the Lubec narrows and run down to Bar Harbor, where a stop of two or three days will be made. Isle6boro will be visited. No other definite stops have been decided de-cided upon and no formal engagements engage-ments have or will bo made. PRESIDENT WILL NOTJNTERFERE BEVERLY, Mass., July 13. It was authoritatively announced today that President Taft's participation In the campaign this fall will be wholly of a general character. Whatever the president may have to say ou politics will have to do with the work of the last congress and in proclaiming that to his way of thluking, the Republican Republi-can representatives placed in power two years ago have kept their faith and nave, carried, out tbo party pledges.. The president will attempt to read no one out of tbe party. Neither will he have any candidate for any office. Personal friendship for William Loeb led the president in a friendly way to sugge6t?that be would make a good candidate ror governor of New York. Hut be has stated that it was not his intention to interfere lu the affairs of any 6tate and he will adhere strictly to his policy. President Taft Is giving considerable considera-ble thought to the forthcoming report by the monetary commission, which, it is expected will recommend to congress con-gress sweeping monetary reforms. It la doubtful if th report will be ready for consideration unUI a year from next December. Taft Wants Monetary Reform. If the next congress is Republican the president will make an effort to ' pet a monetary reform bill through.
